This year's theme is Transience, Transcendence, and Timelessness in Early Jewish Literature.
This important event is proudly sponsored by the PRTA (Pápai Református Teológiai Akadémia) (Hungary) and the NWU (North-West University) (South Africa).
For 2023 the conference will be hosted by the PRTA in Pápa in Hungary, between the 9th and 12th October, 2023.
Important Information
The standard conference registration fee for four days (i.e. 9–12 October 2023) is €80. However, for participants and delegates from Africa, Asia, Central America, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, and South America the fee is reduced to €60. Registered university students may attend all four days for €40.
The conference fee includes full participation of all conference-based proceedings and special events, including conference lunches, refreshments, and conference literature. NB: The conference fee does not cover personal, out-of-hand expenses. It also does not include the cost of the HSASG banquet. The latter will be made available to all participants for an extra cost of €15 per person.
The PRTA has a few modest guest rooms available which can accommodate up to two or three persons each (single beds only, each room has a private bathroom). Here, the cost per night, per person is €15. However, due to limited availability these rooms will be booked out on a “first come—first served” basis. If a PRTA room is unavailable you will be contacted in good time and advised to make alternative arrangements (please see "Accommodation" for details).
Payment: Full payment should be made in cash in Hungarian Forints or Euros to the organisers on your arrival at the PRTA (Pápai Református Teológiai Akadémia).
