How to access a new Drupal 8 site
(This is for testing purposes before the website is to be set up as the new production website.)
(You should be connected to the NWU VPN) If you don’t have VPN on your computer, you can get by following steps on https://services.nwu.ac.za/sites/services.nwu.ac.za/files/files/information-technology/sc/vpn/2020/VPNInstallationGuide_V2.pdf and start from point 2.
- Download and install Notepad++
- This is necessary to be able to edit your hosts file on your computer to access the NEW website with its current domain name. To edit you need to download Notepad++. The link is:
